HISTORY & STRATEGY

The principals of Michelbob's Ribs and Hickory House Ribs
are the owners of West River Meats, Castle Rock, CO.
This USDA plant was purchased in 2005 solely for the purpose
of developing our pre-cooked
HEAT & EAT BABY BACK RIBS
which had attained such notoriety across the US.

Once developed, our efforts have been to make this rib available
to the foodservice and retail grocery industries.
Our efforts are focused on excellent distribution to the Pacific Northwest,
Colorado, Minnesota and the Eastern US (Connecticut, New York,
New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia.)
Our newest markets are Florida and the Caribbean.

We have concentrated on establishing relationships
with excellent partners for long-term success for both.
We conduct an agressive demo program for our retail customers
and in the usual case we have been able to expand our footprint
with our line of top-quality bratwurst, sausages and bacon products.

We also distribute our BBQ Sauces and Seasoning
which makes an excellent retail package.
The notoriety of the restaurants have driven strategic relationships
with the Minnesota Twins and Mauer Cup (St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital.)
